MRTS: Micro-Robotic Testing Systems

Micro Robotic Testing/analysis System (MRTS):  X or Y Axial (tension), Bi-axial (tension-shear), and Quad-Axial (both XY tension and shear) configurations.
​Custom sizing is available (Q1, 2021). Custom motor strength/resolution, load cells, and even total custom solutions for challenging, custom multi-DOF micro-testing projects.

Fully customizable configurations.

Basic Specs MCTAS:
  • Stepper motors: up to 20mm/s loading rate, 2 um (or better) linear resolution.
  • Load cells: base system resolution 0.01 N (<2g) at 10-20N range. Can be higher, or lower, depending on custom needs. 
  • Linear rails are standard, ensuring high precision (.01 um or more).
  • Customizable clamps (optional) to meet your tensile, tensile-shear, and cruciform specimen sizes/needs.
  • Maximum specimen size is only restricted to your microscope XY stage travel distances and your objective field-of-view.
  • Stereo-microscope platform is in development. AR/VR, durable/portable micro-imaging/testing (contact us).
  • Customizable software (C#, GPU accelerated 2 and 3D imaging options)
  • GUI for rapid development of custom testing and imaging protocols.
